The Venue at Hidden Falls — Flomaton, AL

A wedding film at Hidden Falls.

Jared and Sarah got married at The Venue at Hidden Falls, where a 12-foot waterfall and a quiet pond give the property some of the best natural water features on the Gulf Coast. Here's their day.

Shooting a wedding at Hidden Falls

Hidden Falls is named for exactly what it has — a real waterfall on an 11-acre property just north of Pensacola, plus a pond that catches light beautifully in the golden hour. Jared and Sarah's ceremony took full advantage of it, and the water gave their film a texture and sound you can't manufacture with music alone.

Between the open-air chapel, the reception manor, and the grounds around the waterfall, there's a real range of settings on one property, which makes for a film with more visual variety than a single-room venue. If you're booking Hidden Falls, I'd plan at least one portrait window near the falls itself — the light there shifts fast, so timing it against your day-of schedule matters.
